Dow Jones All-Hands Meeting 2024
for e2k Events
In February, May & December of 2024 DEK Creative provided soup-to-nuts technical direction & production management of a temporary studio build on-site at Dow Jones HQ in NYC. Transforming a large conference space into a functional production studio in just four hours, DEK deployed robotic cameras, production lighting, a comprehensive audio system and a video control room complete with keynote graphics, video playback, lower thirds, remote presenters, and ISO records.
These All-Hands Meetings allowed Dow Jones executives to communicate effectively with other c-suite executives in the studio audience and present important corporate updates to thousands of employees, either watching the broadcast on their own or gathered together at watch parties around the world.
National Geographic Storytellers Festival 2024
for e2k Events
In February of 2024 DEK Creative provided technical direction and production management support to e2k Events in service of one of Nat Geo’s flagship events. In a major twist from previous years, the 2024 Storyteller’s Festival was produced on the west coast at Neuehouse Hollywood in Los Angeles, instead of on their usual east coast home campus in Washington, D.C.
Working with production partners Creative Technology and 3Monkeys, e2k produced a creative and rich atmosphere with three-wall projection mapping for Nat Geo’s most exciting storytellers to present their cutting edge work to audiences, both in the room and via livestream broadcast.
Wall Street Journal – Future of Everything Festival 2023
for e2k Events
In May of 2023 DEK Creative provided technical direction and production management support to e2k Events and Event Services, co-producers of WSJ’s Future of Everything Festival in New York City. Held at Spring Studios in Tribeca, FoEF 2024 hosts two stages with dozens of conversations over the course of three days.
DEK Creative was tapped to oversee an accompanying interactive exhibition & overflow lounge space known as The Lab featuring cutting edge technology demos & sponsors across multiple categories, including food, art, tech, gaming, sustainability, and more.
Climate Science Fair 2023
for e2k Events
In September of 2023 DEK Creative provided production management support to e2k Events for their client Emerson Collective. Held over three days during Climate Week 2023 in New York City, the Climate Science Fair aimed to connect the general public with “companies, organizations, innovators, and artists whose work is grounded in climate science to shape our present and future.”
By activating the public space of The High Line, a unique public park built upon the retired and reinvented elevated train tracks along Manhattan’s west side, Emerson Collective and e2k Events produced a vibrant installation and forum for discussion and discovery on one of the 21st centuries most pressing issues.
WSJ Custom Event – IBM Sustainability Conference 2023
for e2k Events
In September of 2023 DEK Creative provided multi-cam video production to e2k Events, deploying robotic cameras, keynote graphics, lower thirds, teleprompters, technical direction & production management.
The event was a Wall Street Journal custom event produced for IBM on the topic of Sustainability, bringing together newsmakers & industry leaders for a one day networking opportunity featuring one-on-one discussions and panels.
Wall Street Journal – Future of Everything Festival 2021
for e2k Events
In May of 2021 DEK Creative built two back-to-back studios at WSJ’s NYC headquarters for the east coast hosts of the Future of Everything Festival, sending live video internationally to control rooms in Mountain View, CA and Dubai, UAE.
The e2k Events team, along with creative solutions provider 3 Monkeys, integrated our feeds from New York into their virtual event platforms and composited them live for broadcast.
Wall Street Journal – Tech Live 2020
for e2k Events
In October of 2020 DEK Creative built a COVID-conscious green screen studio for the east coast hosts of WSJ’s Tech Live conference, sending live video across the country to lead producers e2k Events which anchored the event from their new state-of-the-art virtual event headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
e2k and their team, along with their tech wizards from creative solutions company 3 Monkeys based in Dubai, took our feeds from New Jersey into their virtual event platform and composited them live for broadcast.
